Software can be supplied in stages of automation because of its modular concept. In this are:
- ASRS Cranes
- PLC Control Cubicle
- AGV's
Automated Guided Vehicles
Sam Technology Engineers introduced the first automated guided vehicle system to Australia in 1986. Vehicles today are supplied with a variety of floor guidance systems including magnet, laser, wire and optical gyroscope. Engineering software is offered to integrate the AGV system into their automatic interface equipment resulting in a total factory automated system.
Types of AGV's available include:
- Pallet Handling
- High Reach (7 metres)
- Paper Roll Handling
- Steel Coil Handling
- Special Purpose design
- Carton Handling
